www.orchardcards.co.uk aims to offer a fabulous range of up-market and unsentimental greetings and birthday cards at competitive prices. We try to provide the highest standards of old-fashioned customer service with all the convenience of shopping on-line.

We're a family company based in rural South Cheshire. We began trading, in April 2006, shortly after the birth of my second child and almost as a hobby, after I found it too complicated to combine parenthood with a professional career. The business quickly grew into a full-time occupation, and my husband Richard has now been conscripted to join the fun. The third member of our team is Becky, an invaluable helper in the office and packing room.

We're so relieved that the Royal Mail have called off their strikes in the run-up to Christmas and sincerely hope that the unions and management succeed in resolving their differences in the near future. In the meantime, we've decided to retain the services of the Courier company, whom we engaged to get us through the period of industrial action, in order to provide customers with additional delivery options.
