ORCHARD CARDS is a family business based in rural South Cheshire and established in 2006. We offer a great range of up-market and unsentimental cards at competitive prices. We aim to provide the highest standards of old-fashioned customer service with all the convenience of shopping on-line.

Note to artists etc - We regret that we only stock cards printed and packed by publishers and self-published artists and do NOT commission or print any designs ourselves.

Dispatch - We aim to dispatch any orders placed before 4.30pm during the working week on the same day.

Delivery charges - Please refer to our "Terms" page for a summary of our postage rates.

VAT - The prices displayed on this website include VAT at the standard rate, if appropriate.

If you are not resident for tax purposes in the UK, and have placed an order for delivery outside the European Community ) we can repay the VAT to you. Please send an email to us quoting your order reference and we will arrange a refund.

We will also repay the VAT on export orders sent via FCO diplomatic channels to diplomats and FCO staff working abroad - please refer to our "Terms" for more information.

Security - We operate a secure site and hold a valid security certificate. We never see or store your payment card details, these are handled only by our card processor, HSBC.

Confirmation emails - We will send you an automatic email upon (1) the success completion of your transaction and (2) when your order has been dispatched. If you are unsure whether or not your transaction has been successful, please check your "spam" filter in case our confirmations have been mistakenly directed there, or contact us by phone or email.

Size of cards - Nearly all of our cards fall into the Royal Mail standard "letter" tariff, the size of the envelope being no greater than 240x165mm. However, we do stock one or two larger cards, and have endeavoured to draw their size to your attention.

Packaging - Our products are posted to you in high-quality board-backed envelopes, padded envelopes or boxes (depending on quantity and type).

Illustration quality - We have made every effort to reflect our products as accurately as possible on the website, however the colours of the actual items may vary slightly from their internet representation. Metallic shades and glitter are particularly difficult to scan. In virtually all cases, the actual product is more impressive than the website picture.

Emergency? - Forgotten an important date? Follow the simple instructions to send a card directly to someone else, and we will handwrite your message inside.
